Grilled Chicken Steak with Black Pepper Sauce

Ingredients:

  • 2 chicken breasts (or boneless thighs)
  • 1 tablespoon whole black pepper (crushed)
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 2 garlic cloves (finely chopped)
  • 150 ml heavy cream
  • 100 ml chicken broth
  • 1 teaspoon soy sauce
  • Salt to taste
  • Fresh herbs (e.g., parsley) for garnish

Method:

  1. Preparing the meat:

    • Season the chicken breasts with salt and coat both sides with crushed black pepper.
    • Preheat the grill or a grill pan to medium heat.
    • Brush the meat with olive oil and let it rest for about 10 minutes to allow the pepper to penetrate better.
  2. Grilling the chicken:

    • Grill the chicken breasts for about 5–6 minutes on each side (depending on thickness), until cooked through and juicy. After grilling, let the meat rest for 5 minutes.
  3. Preparing the black pepper sauce:

    • In a small saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat.
    • Add the chopped garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.
    • Pour in the chicken broth and soy sauce, then simmer for 2–3 minutes.
    • Add the cream and bring the sauce to a boil, then reduce the heat and let it simmer gently until thickened (about 5 minutes).
  4. Serving:

    • Pour the prepared black pepper sauce over the chicken breasts and garnish with fresh parsley.
    • Serve with a side dish of your choice, such as boiled potatoes, grilled vegetables, or a salad.

Tips:

  • If you want a milder sauce, you can add a bit of sugar or more cream.
  • For a stronger pepper flavor, add more freshly crushed black pepper at the end.

We will send you the spices in a gift resealable doypack bag with a transparent window. The bag looks very nice, and it will keep your spices fresh and fragrant for a long time. The bag can be refilled repeatedly. Choose this option if you don't have other resealable storage for spices or if you want to give it as a gift.
