1. Recipe

Grilled Šumava Trout

Difficulty: easy

Preparation time: 20 minutes

Ingredients:

  • 1 whole trout, cleaned
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon "Šumava Trout" seasoning blend
  • Lemon slices for serving
  • Fresh herbs for garnish (e.g., parsley, dill)

Instructions:

  1. Rinse the trout thoroughly and pat it dry.
  2. Brush the trout inside and outside with olive oil and the "Šumava Trout" seasoning blend.
  3. Preheat the grill to medium heat.
  4. Place the trout on the grill and grill for 4-5 minutes on each side or until the flesh is browned and easily flakes.
  5. Serve with lemon slices and garnish with fresh herbs.

2. Recipe

Trout with Herbs in the Oven

Difficulty: medium

Preparation time: 40 minutes

Ingredients:

  • 2 trout, cleaned
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon "Šumava Trout" seasoning blend
  • 1 lemon, thinly sliced
  • Fresh herbs (e.g., thyme, rosemary)

Instructions:

  1. Preheat the oven to 200°C (392°F).
  2. Brush the trout inside and outside with olive oil and the "Šumava Trout" seasoning blend.
  3. Place lemon slices and herbs inside the abdominal cavity of the trout.
  4. Place the trout in a baking dish and bake in the oven for 20-25 minutes or until the flesh is browned and easily flakes.
  5. Serve the trout with fresh herbs and lemon slices.

We will fill the spices into a paper bag for you, just as you would get spices at the market. The bag will be labeled with the name of the spice. After delivery, we recommend you transfer the spices into a spice jar or a sealable container to maintain their quality. This option is recommended for replenishing home supplies.

Gift Packaging (doypack):

We will send the spices to you in a gift resealable doypack bag with a clear window. The bag looks very nice, and your spices will stay fresh and fragrant for a long time. The bag can be refilled repeatedly. Choose this option if you do not have other sealable storage for spices or if you wish to give it as a gift.
