Royal Ribs on the Grill

Difficulty: medium

Preparation Time: 3 hours + overnight marination

Ingredients:

  • 1 kg pork ribs
  • 1 tablespoon Royal spice blend
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 2 tablespoons apple cider vinegar
  • 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
  • Olive oil

Instructions:

  1. In a large bowl, combine the Royal spice blend, brown sugar, apple cider vinegar, and Worcestershire sauce.
  2. Brush the ribs with olive oil and then evenly coat them with the prepared marinade.
  3. Cover and marinate in the refrigerator overnight.
  4. Remove the ribs from the refrigerator and let them come to room temperature.
  5. Grill over medium heat, turning occasionally and basting with the remaining marinade, about 2-3 hours, until they are tender and crispy.
  6. Serve with fresh coleslaw salad or grilled vegetables.

Slow-Roasted Royal Ribs

Difficulty: easy

Preparation Time: 4 hours

Ingredients:

  • 1 kg pork ribs
  • 1 tablespoon Royal spice blend
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 250 ml beer or beef broth
  • 2 tablespoons maple syrup

Instructions:

  1. Preheat the oven to 120°C.
  2. Brush the ribs with olive oil and evenly season them with the Royal spice blend.
  3. Place the ribs in a baking dish and add beer or broth. Cover the baking dish with aluminum foil.
  4. Bake in the oven for 3 hours, then remove the aluminum foil and brush the ribs with maple syrup.
  5. Increase the temperature to 200°C and bake for an additional 30 minutes to create a crispy crust.
  6. Serve with mashed potatoes or your favorite side dish.
